Part-Time / PRN / On-Call Recovery Manager

Position Overview

The Recovery Manager provides Home and Community-Based Services – Adult Mental Health (HCBS-AMH) recovery manager services. The role involves supporting clients in the community and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote recovery and stability.

Note: Hours are not guaranteed and will vary depending on client needs and availability. Flexibility for weekday, evening, and weekend hours is required.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered recovery management services within the HCBS-AMH program.

  • Coordinate services and resources to support clients’ recovery goals.

  • Manage a caseload and advocate for clients’ health, safety, and well-being.

  • Conduct home and community visits (homes, adult day centers, medical appointments, etc.).

  • Facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings and develop/update Individual Recovery Plans (IRP), treatment plans, and crisis plans.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, group homes, social services, and community agencies.

  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with program standards.

  • Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.

  • Work effectively under pressure and independently manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field (required).

  • Minimum two years of experience working with adults with severe mental illness (SMI) (required).

  • Background in case management, social work, behavioral health, or related fields.

  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Compassion, empathy, and dedication to supporting others.

  • Proficiency with computers and documentation systems strongly preferred.

All staff must complete Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training. Applicants who have not yet obtained certification may receive the training through the Operations Manager after hire.
I currently hold valid SAMA/CPI certification, and it is up to date.
I have not yet completed the training but plan to obtain it on my own.
I would need assistance in obtaining the training.
